Slabs on Grade

A bold, conversion-focused website and local SEO structure for a family-owned Houston concrete contractor.
Slabs on Grade is a family-owned concrete contractor that has served Greater Houston since 2010. Founder Jesus Jimenez and his crew pour driveways, patios, sidewalks, foundations, retaining walls and epoxy floors for homeowners, along with commercial concrete and parking lot paving for businesses and property managers. We built a site that makes it easy to request a free on-site estimate from any page and explains how each type of job gets done. The site has 11 service pages, including residential and commercial hubs, and 14 service area pages covering Houston and surrounding cities such as Katy, Cypress and The Woodlands.
The website
The design
Concrete is a practical purchase, so the Slabs on Grade design had to be loud, clear, and fast. A full-width driveway photo carries a big uppercase headline that names the jobs right away, the quote button and phone number sit side by side, and bold orange service blocks split residential and commercial work at a glance.

Our approach
We built the design on the brand's bright orange, set against near-black sections and a cream background, with heavy uppercase Archivo headlines. The homepage opens on a full-width driveway photo with the 2010 founding date, a quote button and the phone number. Services split into residential and commercial hubs, and each service page explains how the job is built, down to concrete strength and rebar spacing.

What we built
- Brand-led web design
- 11 service pages
- 14 service-area pages
- Residential and commercial hubs
- Free estimate form
- County-by-county area map
The outcome
Visitors see what Slabs on Grade pours, and for how long, in the first screen, with free estimates, licensing and a written warranty listed under the buttons. Fourteen city pages cover local permits, soil and ZIP codes, and the homepage groups every city they serve by county beside a map. The estimate form asks for budget and the best time to call, so each quote starts with context.
